Meet the team

Ian Hodge – Managing Director
Ian spent the first 20 years of his career in his family oil business Ribble Fuel Oils running the operational and distribution division of the company.
In 2006 he set up Complete Tank Solutions to cope with the increased demand for tank installation work. Now the company has grown to offer national coverage and a diverse range of services from simple advice on locating an oil tank to complex design and installation of CPH units. The company also deals in non-oil related tanks, such as water tanks, and polymer tanks, fibreglass, and underground concrete tanks.
We recently won a national contract with a large building supply chain to provide a detailed survey for each depot and provide a cost effective solution for fuel storage at the sites, to meet all environmental requirements.
Ian is trained to OFTEC standard OFT600A – Advanced Oil Storage Tank Installation, has a Class I HGV licence and full ADR licence, completed UK Spill training, and is qualified to produce all method statements and risk assessments for Working in Confined Spaces, and is a qualified Dangerous Goods Safety Advisor.
John Clegg – Installation Engineer
John joined Ribble Fuel Oils in 2006, but more recently moved into the tank installation team. He has completed OFTEC 600A, confined spaces training and has an ADR licence for carrying all types of fuel.
Matthew Cleece – Project Manager

His experience is critical to responding quickly and efficiently to any types of oil spillage. His extensive knowledge of ground conditions and drainage systems can save valuable hours when tracing a fuel spillage.

John Clegg – Installation engineer
John is trained to OFTEC standard OFT600A and has considerable experience with the rules and regulations relating to the installation of oil tanks and provides OFTEC reports and recommendations for larger organisations.
