Installation
We can undertake all aspects of a tank installation.
For smaller, domestic installations, we have our own small transfer pumps to ensure a safe and clean installation of your new heating oil tank. During the changeover work we will also take care to de-water the fuel from your old tank and filter the oil to ensure none of the sludge from your old tank is transferred into your new tank.
It is important to ensure that your oil tank is tested for water build up from condensation at least once per year. This can build up and eventually get carried into the fuel pump and cause damage and stop the boiler working.
For larger installations, we can carry out all the ancillary work such as new pipe work and valves as we have a pipe threading machine for oil lines up to 2” in diameter. We can also call on our sister company Ribble Fuel Oil to provide tankers to remove and store larger quantities of fuel whilst work is undertaken.
We can also inspect your tank to ensure it complies with the correct markings, overfill alarms and accurate content gauges.

We offer bespoke fuel management systems to meet your requirements whether it is a simple mechanical flow meter or web-based multi-user software package for 300 vehicles over multiple depots.
Our mechanical division can install new heating units into warehouses, etc. These can be simple, stand alone hot air heat exchange units or temperature controlled environments with destratification fans to improve heating distribution in the winter and assist cooling in the summer.
